The Gorges Du Verdon is a unique site in Europe and all the world, crossed by the river Verdon, you may feel in this site the best cheerful that you have ever feel in your life . It is located in the region of Provence in france, crossing over the River "Verdon" and about three hours away from Marseilles, you should drive from Moustiers to Castellane. There are many shoulders along the way for admiring the views and taking pictures. Eventually, This is a lookout point. When you reach it, there is a large parking area. You have to walk across an unpaved plateau for about 5 minutes before you get to the viewing area. 

 
There are lots of turns here. If you are used to driving on level land, you may find the Gorge scary. My family, however, loved the turns. It is all part of the natural beauty.
The Verdon Gorge known as one of the most beautiful canyons in Europe, and attracts many tourists from all over the world, especially during the spring and summer period.And it is associated with the emergence of the turquoise of the river because of the icy sources and some metals.

 

In the area, there are many pretty villages characterized by the wonderful atmosphere which allows you to enjoy the landscape.

The Museum of Prehistory is one of the most important tourist attractions of the place opened the museum the largest in Europe on April 28, 2001. The main building was designed almond-shaped by the famous architect Norman Foster English, and is expected to be the number of tourists about 150,000 visitors a year and it contains relics dating back to about 400,000 years-discovered in Bonn de la Baume cave in the village of Quinson (in the Gorges du Verdon, a few kilometers west of Lac de St. Croix)
 Finally, The Gorges du Verdon is truly awesome! You'll take winding roads up the mountain, and you need to be totally sober to handle these roads. The view below and at the bottom is absolutely incredible. Put your feet in the water, it is wonderful! You will NOT be disappointed!
